The second one, in full Hollywood Glamour, is the look I was hoping to find for my wedding dress, but alas it did not look right on my curves. I mourned the idea.

Thank you for this post!

Tish, I am coming up empty on the technical aspect of your request : )Natalienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8632687405116920387.post-28079052328367495252009-09-19T15:56:29.529+02:002009-09-19T15:56:29.529+02:00Her designs are beautiful. Her designs are beautiful.Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09289348366926684135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8632687405116920387.post-68285573986266575972009-09-19T00:06:23.310+02:002009-09-19T00:06:23.310+02:00Wonderful - I did not know much about her at all u...Wonderful - I did not know much about her at all until I read your post - thank you so much.....Semi Expathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12839322243900070800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8632687405116920387.post-37683180253189795812009-09-18T20:35:43.403+02:002009-09-18T20:35:43.403+02:00Thank you for this interesting post. Way back when I was in college I tried once to wear something a bit like the dress in the 2nd picture in an effort to be glamorous and not "cute" for at least one evening. I wish I could say it worked but it didn't. Not only did my hair collapse half way through the night, the bottom of my dress got wet (probably from all the spilled alcohol on the floor) and it stretched into something resembling a big dirty tablecloth. Makes me laugh to think back. about it.Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12859755625440254862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8632687405116920387.post-54966851007502866272009-09-18T19:31:04.652+02:002009-09-18T19:31:04.652+02:00Those are stunning images. I've been familiar for a while with how influential her work was/is, but did not know that she was also a pioneer in decent working conditions (and what she provided her workers is still miles ahead).Susan Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16005855250089328310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8632687405116920387.post-42886287313269867122009-09-18T18:20:17.779+02:002009-09-18T18:20:17.779+02:00Wow, the first two dresses and that sheer white bl...Wow, the first two dresses and that sheer white blouse are beautiful!
