Good, thick, rubber or other flexible soles are best. I wore a pair of Keens I'd packed for the hills all week in Dublin.cafelattehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00895105508365387253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8632687405116920387.post-29518285587859821962012-06-28T22:19:09.945+02:002012-06-28T22:19:09.945+02:00I, too, am going to Ireland in the fall and really...I, too, am going to Ireland in the fall and really appreciate the wardrobe plan. I probably would have overpacked or under packed. My sister-in-law thinks I'm nuts because I am already planning the wardrobe. As a native, I can say IMPOSSIBLE to cover all our weather vagaries. However, rather than wellies, I suggest a pair of decent walking shoes - my Eccos are fine in all but the very worst downpour. <br />RosemaryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8632687405116920387.post-1358814240712364802012-06-28T18:53:07.418+02:002012-06-28T18:53:07.418+02:00I love all the outfits! L.L.Bean makes an attractive, flat "coastal skimmer" (see here: http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/63396?feat=506936-CL2). They're also easy to slip on and off at airports! Wrap everything in tissue before you stuff, so it doesn't all end up smelling rubbery! Then put your boots into shoe bags (over the foot portion of the boot) and put them in your bag first. They take up a lot of space, but they're absolutely essential! The Vivenne Fileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05740975051742023907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8632687405116920387.post-29574281732111974452012-06-28T13:01:41.793+02:002012-06-28T13:01:41.793+02:00Love Hunter Wellies!
