A French Country Weekend

Down the driveway, toward the front gate.
Winter Wonderland would be appropriate. It's gorgeous out here in the country.

The snow is a little late for me, as always. I like to see everything covered in neige for the holidays. In all the time I've lived in France we had snow only once, two years ago.

Charlotte, impatiently waiting for me to take her into the fields.
Just found my boots, so will be heading out to the fields behind our house with Charlotte who seems to be convinced that snow, no matter what the date on the calendar, is entirely too much fun to quibble about when it arrives. Frolicking would be the best way to describe her glee when she saw everything covered in crunchy white.
Because snow comes with cold, I've become absolutely addicted to a steaming cup of Kusmi Tea's newest product, Euphoria, which feels so festive when sitting next to a crackling fire in the fireplace and sipping while looking out on the flakes hovering in the air.

I promised to get back to you with my review. My review is:  "divinely delicious" with the tea's rich chocolate and orange flavor and perfume. I add some agave to mine and a splash of milk and, I promise you, it feels like a dessert. Thank you for warning me about the possible dangers of maté which is an important ingredient. I won't overdose on Euphoria even though I'm tempted.

I'm off. A demain mes très, très, très chers amis.

I wish I could see this just once in south Texas! We have not had snow like this since 1984! It is gorgeous and the idea of tea by a crackling fire...oh, I can only dream! I would for sure be out playing in it...before the tea, of course!

What is it about dogs and snow? All of our have adored it and turned instantly into puppies when they saw it. Such joy.

Overdoes on euphoria? Sounds like a great way to go, one day!

Gorgeous! And that tea does indeed sound like dessert!

(I am settled in with a great book, for an hour, anyway... which is quite a treat. Perhaps I need tea to go with it?)

Have a lovely country weekend, Tish.

Snow on a weekend is almost as perfect as snow for the holidays. I keep hoping here.
Restez cozy.

So pretty! I am craving a dose of the white stuff myself and really really hope we get some soon! I miss it! Our weather is cold so if we are going to have to suffer with frigid air, might as well let it snow...enjoy!

Charlotte takes a walk in the snow. I bet she loves it. I can't say that's what my dogs were doing. Dogs and I were drudging around in the snow. We didn't go too far but it was invigorating. Enjoy the snow and beautiful scenery. Have a great weekend!

xx

Oh my. We overdose on snow regularly. It's lovely when it first falls, but I am always happy to see it go. It was lovely for Christmas and now I am craving warmth and sunshine. A trip to the south is the remedy.

I would love to wake one morning to such a beautiful view, especially now as we swelter in our summer heat and hint of 'something burning' in the air - a consequence of the bush fires raging in south eastern Australia. If I close my eyes I can feel the chill and crispness in the air (sigh..........)
