Pre-Holiday Cadeaux

How about a handful of "Open-Right-This-Second" gifts? They could be hostess offerings or touches of the season's spirit for your home. Why not, n'est-ce pas?

Let me suggest a few immediate gratification items:

1.) Fleur de lis linen cocktail napkins.  (Let me caution you. When you click you will be taken to a site that caters to baby gear -- lots and lots of baby stuff, but go to "The Best" scroll and be patient. You will sort of really, really want these to keep on scrolling.)
          2.) Eiffel Tower ornaments.
3.) More of the above, but different. Same source, One Kings Lane.

4.) Moutarde au jus de truffe.
5.)  From Diptyque, the best candles in the world in my opinion, their Noël collection (or just one). The choices this year: Sapin Doré, L'Oud Ambré and L'Oliban -- all sumptuously rich and sensuous.

Next week there will be much more where these came from including stocking stuffers for the woman (and the man) who has everything. There will be, however, a twist to the story.

Yes, why wait till Christmas. I bought a little present & a card for Mr TNMA today & I'm going to give it to him over the weekend. I do like the Eiffel Tower decorations - think I'm in need of a long weekend in Paris.

Tish, these are wonderful. The other day I was cleaning out the wet bar and came across 2 packets of Frette
cocktail napkins. Heaven? Yes!

The little white Eiffel towers! Adorable! (Aren't they heavy?)

Some gifts are fun to open early... Others, it's all about anticipation...

(Of course, my tree will have its usual mix of odd ornaments - not to many - and yes, there are shoes!)

Those little tags are wonderful. Stamped date from December 1st to 25th. I'll use them like an advent calendar by tagging little gifts for each day until the 25th. Any day will be special with a set of Diptyque Christmas candles.

Here in Finland, Santa comes on Christmas Eve ( 24th. ) to every home. Haven´t figured out how he manages to do the rounds in one evening, heh!
I´m having difficulties in saving the gifts till that date, so I always give something already in advance.
I´ve had one of those D- candles, maybe I´ll get some more, as they seem so popular. And now with the Xmas scent!
Thanks for sharing.
