Here's the problem: (apart from the four women who declined to be photographed last week) it's the weather. It's anything but picture perfect. For several days, we've had nothing but gray skies, chilly temperatures and rain, rain, rain. I'm assuming the garden is thrilled. Women on the streets of Paris are not. As I write this the sun is starting to emerge, if it holds for a few hours I'll see what I can do for you. But, since the weather lady predicted more and more rain I assume women will dress accordingly.
Thus, the promised post on the street does not have my usual selection. Maybe next week. . .

Please tell your ladies a big "Merci" from us...they look lovely...they just show us how it is done.
Even just two pictures are enjoyable...I really like the top look! Thanks for giving it a try!
I wonder if my tights will fit under skinny, skinny jeans?
I think I might try as the top lady looks really good in hers!!!!!
They still look lovely, Tish. Even two selections. The soft colors are very soothing. And they look chic, as well as comfy in their clothes.
What's better than that?
I particularly like the scarf in the first picture. And what looks like a putty-colored Birkin...yes, please.
I enjoy comparing photos of ladies on the street in NYC and Paris to here in BA.
The ladies here in BA are right up there with those on Fifth Avenue or the Right Bank, I am happy to say.
They wear their clothes to fit here, which is lovely, no saggy, baggy, wrinkled, too tight, too long/short etc .. very well groomed bunch of ladies here.
I so appreciate the effort. Love the look in the first one.
I love seeing this images of elegant and stylish ladies. Parisian women showcase 'how to' by presenting themselves in a simple way - nothing over done. Just chic and elegant.
I think these are maybe the best two photos you've ever shown. Both are so effortlessly chic - everything about them. Thanks.
Both very fashionable women Tish, love your photos

There's a feeling of ease in these images. These women look very pulled together yet they look natural as if they are not trying too hard. My favourite series always Tish!
They look very smart despite the weather... xv
You might have wanted more photos but I adore how the first woman is dressed. As the post was loading and slowly moving down, I was so excited to see what the woman in grey was wearing on her feet. Not disappointed.. cute boots! Love the rolled cuffs and the drape of the scarf!
Love them, especially the quality of the clothes and bags. Interesting that the town and country shots could be interchanged.
Thank you for these 2 photos - love them both. We appreciate you even trying as we know it is not your most favourite endeavour!
Are all the women in Paris really this thin? They are both lovely, of course, but it's hard to relate. Where are the women with curves or aren't there any?
I truly hope you know how appreciative we are of these two shots- you would have to have some pretty unfair and demanding readers to ask for more. When I think of the time and trouble to go out, camera in hand, find, approach and ASK to take pictures... and then to the computer, and all the tech wonders that must be tended to, charged and connected... honestly, hats off to you! Always love, love these on-the-street examples of French chic. And I want to know- how is it that scarves always look so casual on the French, yet are perfect in a way that is almost impossible to achieve? Is it the scarves? Are they altogether different than what we have here in the States?
Oh- just one more comment to anonymous about "curves" (although I don't think either of these women are noticeably thin). Tish had a posting with nothing but shots of curvier women one time... but I don't think France comes close to the US in the number of "curvy" women.
Yes. Very unfriendly weather in Paris. Nature is happier for the amount of rain.
