High or. . .
|
 |
| . . . low, nude is the ultimate chic shoe choice. |
On this, the last day of April, I asked my great pal and creator of the extraordinary blog
The Vivienne Files, to see what she could do with beige.
She chose blue to give it character and verve. I think it's stunning.

I love those nude flats...I must track them down!!
I think I might have left a comment over on TVF's blog that camel (as I prefer to call it) is my favorite "color" to wear (just add black and white as neutrals and there you go) so this is definitely and without a doubt, my personal favorite in this wonderful, wonderful series. My one buy this spring was a new pair of Tod's mocs in you guessed it, camel. My brown pair were worn through and it was too good of an opportunity to pass up. Now I just need for this rain to go away so that I can wear them. :)
Good Morning Tish
You have presented us with a wardrobe fit for a Princess or for any city striding girl.
Thank you and wishing you a week of happiness

Vivienne is truly amazing with her versatile choices. Love the handbags, and your little flat ballerinas...a shoe no one should be without in all the basic colors. You will laugh at this...I once had a pair of creamy whites, blacks & dark hot pink...all in sequins...alas, that's the Texan Italian in me. xx's
Once again, a classic (and very classy) collection. Love that Vivienne lets us know the brand of each piece. I have discovered new sources of inspiration from following this series. Thank you!
Beautiful and inspiring. Vivienne makes something that's really very difficult to do, look easy!
I love the first shoes and really love this color combo. It's like the ocean and the sand; doesn't get any better!
Have a wonderful week!

The vibrant blue that I always think of as "French Blue"...I love the way it looks new and unexpected with camel.
Love love love the first pair of high heels in nude. I would wear them in a heartbeat - and for me - they would be very comfy. Happy to see they don't have the looney-tunes platforms that have become de rigueur.
Don't like those monster shoes! They do nothing but put our ankles at peril, and look ridiculous.
(Just sayin'...)
Now a nice 3" heel or even 100mm à la Louboutin? Gorgeous.
I have a cute pair of similar flats but I have never got them to work. Thanks for the ideas. Happy days. Chris
Vivienne's selections work with both heels and flats.
I choose ballerinas every time...
How is the weather and did you and Deja Pseu have fun?
l love this combination, very flattering and elegant.
Is there any way you can share with us who makes those bllet flats you showed in the beginning of your post? They are so perfect! Thank you..
Warmly, Kathleen
This is just glorious. What a wonderful color combination!
I like Janice's style. The blue is the perfect accent piece to the beige outfits.
