Today's packing for Paris comes from one of my favorite bloggers whom you will find at The Vivienne Files. If you scroll down while perusing her wardrobe suggestions chez elle, you will find a black on black on black post. It truly, truly speaks to me. Probably because I own all of the pieces several times over. I'm also a huge fan of blue, which is a perfect color for travel and her choices in a word, most definitely say, Paris (!) |

Love her touches of blue. Certainly freshens up a dark look for spring. I just returned from her blog and saw some yellow too, which I also love. Thanks for the inspiration.

Versatile and fresh looking. Love it.
LOVE this and this is just how I like to dress....classic and chic but very fresh and "now" feeling....stunning choices!
So very well thought out. Thank you. Now if I could just learn to be that rational when faced with an empty suitcase...
Had to laugh...I am wearing black and blue as I read this..so of course I love what I see!!
There is something classic in touches of blue and white.
Lovely.
(Et mon billet pour Paris ? Je l'ai mis où ? Ah oui, je rêve... hélas !))
Gorgeous capsule, and love how you've shown the mixes.
The Vivienne Files are such a joy to look at. And shades of blue - a woman after my own heart!
Blue, preferably with a nautical slant, and black. What more could a girl's heart desire? Love these choices.
Love this!
She should do a packing for Seattle post. Let me see;
Wooly hat, Gor-tex jacket, sandles and wooly socks, coffee mug. West coast chic, non?
Non!
You mix things up so well. I enjoy The Vivienne Files, the color coordination, the advice. I used to love to plan my outfits, accessories, etc. I was quite stale over the past few years and the fashion blogs of Une Femme, A Femme, Vivienne Files have brought me out of my rut. Thank you, ladies.
Wow she makes this look so easy.
I like her style...
cheerio I am off to check out her blog!
Lovely ideas. I am stealing many of them for my upcoming trip to NYC - they're pretty much the same ... right?
Vivienne always makes these packing posts so easy; I love the touches of blue as I am working on incorporating more blue and navy in my wardrobe. Well done!
How funny, I actually signed up for the VF yesterday (?) after clicking from your blogroll, Tish. Girlfriend nails it perfectly. And how much do I love that she choses between high and low, affordable and quality for the long term. Who wouldn't want to look this pulled together?
What a gorgeous spring in Paris wardrobe. I'd love every one of those pieces (and have some of them). Vivienne's blog is an inspiration I joined several months ago.
l'm another enthusiastic follower of The Vivienne Files..
Love these choices and colours for Paris..
Another gorgeous wardrobe. My problem is that if I pack too early, that open suitcase calls in just a little extra shirt, then one more tiny sweater, then a pair of pants, just in case... you get the picture. By the time I arrive my luggage is almost overweight with items that have somehow snuck into my bag without me knowing!
My biggest dilemna is comfortable shoes that will look great and be able to have hours of comfort as I walk. I am heading to Europe for a 25-day trip and am taking a carry on only. I will be walking a lot and also pan to take leisurely bike tours in cities & towns ... any suggestions for cute & chic?
