Next Week or La Semaine Prochaine

All I can say is, thank goodness for good friends. I think the exploration of luxury last week was fun and edifying.

The week ahead will feature another three-part series this time on traveling. You'll see. It will be a clever mix of fun and function.

Also on the calendar, Marsi will be telling us about her "Magnificent Obsessions" and I can assure you, as always, she knows what she's talking about, i.e. "value-added."

I think I'll do a News & Views post, it's been a while and I have things to share. While you're being entertained and informed by my pals; I'll be working. I'll also be missing you.

Until I started this blog I never thought I had an addictive personality, but apparently I do. It's a good thing I don't live next to a casino with a bar. . .

A demain mes trés, trés, trés chers amis.

I want to respond to the comment you just left me but not on a public forum. Can you email me through my profile?

I agree with you that this blogging thing I have personally just discovered is addictive, but at least you can't type and eat at the time ! Have a wonderful week !

Wishing you a productive week. (And ditto on the addictive thing... But it's also excellent discipline for the work ethic, non?)

bisous!

I really enjoy your blog. Your plans for a three-part series on traveling this week piqued my interest.

For example, how to pack for a 5-week trip to Italy and France in June (meandering north from Rome to Paris by car/train/river cruise)? How many clothes to bring? Do the basics of "Warm Weather Dressing" (resort wear) posts apply to European cities & countryside, too? Thanks.

I just saw your Ed. Note (Feb 16, 2011) "I would love to do a post or two on traveling to warm climates, but I need to know more about you. Do you wear skirts? Do you like linen? Do you wear bermudas? Do you like long? Body type, etc. (You remain anonymous so don't be shy.)"

I left the Mar 5 2012 message requesting help with a 5-week travel wardrobe for Italy & France in June. If details would help: I usually wear pants, but prefer skirts when it is hot. I like silk tops & cotton bottoms. I am a tall, "H" body type with fair hair & skin. Would love your suggestions as to numbers of skirts, tops, etc.

Me again - forgot to say that I am a aize 14 as well as tall, H-shape.
