Dresses of Eté In Paris & Beyond

On the streets of Paris and on the country lanes in the town near our village. Note the ballerina penchant. They are everywhere.

I have lots more where these came from.

How refreshing to see dresses out and about,  n'est-ce pas?

They all look fab. Loving the button down dress teamed with the red belt.

Riding a bike in a dress?? I do not think I could do that...it might be very embarrassing!! I love your pictures and have no problem with looking at repeats..I often see something new!

The simple elegance of the women in the 2nd and last photo sums up the style of the French, nothing bling to spoil the look.Ida

I love these photos...never know how to dress in the hot, hot Australian summer, always willing to learn from the best.
thank you.

Women always look lovely in dresses. Wish they would wear them more often. Especially when the weather is so wonderful. I should take my own advice.

But I can never find dresses as good as these in the shops! And that stylish woman in the second picture -- she looks very like the woman you snapped at a news kiosk last fall or winter, with a Jack Russell and a plum colored Birkin bag that was heaven (and which, obviously, imprinted itself on my brain).

I love wearing dresses in the summer. I like skirts even better but I'm having the worst time trying to find skirts I like this summer. Nice photos.
Have a great weekend.

I love the first image - the dress, the bike, the smile - it's all good. I wish it was warm enough to wear a summer dress here, too.

There is something timeless and refreshing in these neutrals, and the simplicity of styles.

Just goes to show that fussy isn't necessary to be chic.

Love the pics!

Love them! Especially the bicycle. I aspire to look this effortlessly chic on my bike.

Thank you, Tish! Incidentally, last summer I came across a dress identical to that worn by the lady in the last picture; I fell for it immediately, bought it, and then - lo and behold - you showed a picture of "my" dress on a Paris street! I am still very fond of that dress. The brand: Taranko, a Polish clothes company (I'm Polish and live in Poland).
Best,
Teresa

Absolutely, light, simple dresses and a sandal always works! And at barely 17C in Montreal, in the rain, it's light sweater weather. Wen the sun returns, full summer, linen, dresses!
