| A photograph of Gustave Caillebotte taken in 1892 by his brother, Martial Caillebotte. Its tenderness takes my breath away. |
Of this I can promise you, the week ahead will be full of surprises. Much like last week, but completely different. Not one post was planned.
On my calendar tomorrow is a visit to the Musée Jacquemart-André to see the exhibit of the Caillebotte brothers. Gustave Caillebotte has always been one of my favorite painters, but I didn't know his brother, Martial, was an extraordinary photographer.
I'm very excited.
Other probable subjects may include, but may not, or something more interesting may occur -- life is full of surprises after all. . .
1.) The pictures in my camera will be transferred to the computer and will result at some point in an On-the-Street post.
2.) Straw shoes and other miscellany from my notebook.
3.) News & Views
4.) This & That
And that's all she wrote.
Have a lovely Sunday.
Weather report from these parts: sweater necessary, but sunny -- in case you were wondering. . .

It is an arresting poignant photograph. Love forward to your adventures. pgt
I'm so bummed that we weren't aware of the Caillebotte exhibit until we'd returned home! Hope you enjoy it. the J-A is such a nice museum, not overwhelmingly large.
That photograph is divine!
