Whenever I see pedicures and/or shoes that interest me I always ask the women who already agreed to a full body shot if I can do a close-up of their feet. I'm now thinking this approach -- "just your feet, please" -- could lead to not only an entirely new series for us, but could also make potential subjects less reticent.
On the other hand, they might think I have some sort of foot fetish blog thing going. A couple of women asked me if their pictures could wind up on a porn site. "Unlikely," I assured them.
Welcome to the first of what may be a continuing series on neat feet.

Did you know that there's actually a name for having a larger index/second toe than big toe? Morton's toe. I just learned that two days ago.

I saw a woman with gorgeous shoes and asked her if I could take a photo. "I am not a pervert," I assured her. I just wanted to look for the same shoes myself.

I can understand not wanting picture taken. My clothes always look fine, but my face - NO!
You could always take a picture of an old building and when posting it add a small note below to "please ignore the stylish lady in front wearing black Marcel tee and white pants, carrying Hermes bag." No?

Being something of a fussbudget when it comes to shoes (that's what I get for being so hard to fit), I noticed that all but two of these well-pedicured women were wearing shoes that were long enough, but not quite wide enough. I look forward to seeing more of your always interesting photos.

This is BRILLIANT!!! My husband thinks I am crazy but one of the very first things I do when checking out someone's outfit is look at their shoes!! And what could be better than checking out what French women wear on their feet? Thanks for posting these photos!
