But, and it's vitally important that you understand (sympathize?) with my perfectly reasonable explanation: I've lost my voice. Well, not completely, it's a squeeky whisper usually finishing with a sputtering cough accompanied by tears running down my cheeks. You can see this performance lacks the authority and confidence required to hit the streets and ask chic women to please walk toward my camera. I noticed today while buying our daily bread, people I know didn't want to give me our usual air kisses after my pitiful "bonjour."
One germaphobe friend actually crossed the street to avoid me. (I've known her for years so I wasn't offended. If I had stayed away from another friend I wouldn't be in this situation myself.)
Now you know why you are looking at a selection of some my past favorite on-the-street shots.
Merci par avance for your comprehension and indulgence. I'll make it up to you next week.
A demain.

Still love your choices.
Get well soon.
Since I'm a new reader these images are new to me. Love the simple elegance. Inspiring.
Hope your voice gets better soon 'cos I was thinking of caling you next week!
Have a great weekend

The village is so beautiful, it doesn't matter!
I hope you're feeling better soon -- do take care of yourself. And pass my best wishes for a speedy recovery along to Cherie as well. We know she's taking care of herself!
No worries Tish, these looks are all worth revisiting!
Hope you feel better soon.
Oh, and don't you just hate the scratchy pain when you try to croak out a few words?! I've always found that it takes a few days of not straining my voice at all to recover. so sorry to hear you're having this malady!
Feel better! (Chicken soup, steamy shower, LOTS of red wine!)
xoxo
Feel better!
I never tire of looking at chic women. Hope you feel better.
Since I turned 50 this year, I find it harder and harder to find great looking, stylish clothes to compliment my body. Especially since I have been such a fashionista my entire life. Thanks for the inspiration your blog provides with a little humor thrown in for good measure.
New follower.

Dearest Tish! I just got over a bad case of laryngitis, and my BONJOURS and other important French matters at school were faintly heard by 50 fourth graders! Oh you are a lovely human being....just wanting to spread chic and beauty....you will get your GROOVE BACK SOON, I know it! Bises, Anita
Love your advise on T shirt, so very witty and so true.
