As I minister to my beloved sick dog, some of my best laid plans have gone awry this week. Thus today we're having a scheduling flip-flop.
Instead of Saturday's usual "A Weekend In The Country" I'll tell you about the week ahead (which is usually "featured" on Sunday) and tomorrow you will have a wonderful surprise I've been wanting to offer you -- and the participants therein -- for some time.
I promise you, it's something very special, a fable. That's all I'll tell you today. Aren't you intrigued?

If you are looking for ideas for future posts, I would love to hear your thoughts on what a mother-of-the-groom/bride should wear. I will be one next May at my son's wedding. It will be an afternoon wedding and not that formal so I'm not sure if I should go with a dress or a suit or a dress with a jacket. I'm leaning toward a gray dress with shawl, but would love more ideas.
