Believe it or not, it takes lots of energy to spiel the spiel, smile the smile, and snap the snap.
I do promise I shall be back out there soon. Until then. . . a few more déjà vu photos in quick review.
Now that the boutiques in my corner of the world have reopened and most certainly the Parisiennes are shopping for fall, I'm sure I will find delightful subjects for the very near future.
I hope, as in "delightful" -- I know I'll find stylish, that's a given.
P.S: Yes, Place Victor Hugo.

you should come to Rennes : Women there are so elegant , really...;
Shots this great are always worth another look. Thanks, Tish!
Can't wait to see more, as I prepare for my Sept. trip to Paris.
Oh you are braver women than I, we really appreciate your stalwart efforts.
Love your pictures -- through these, I see how great a neutral palette really works.
And don't fret about that reaction you got -- just ask yourself "What would Ron Galella do?"
Dear Tish - we all need streaks of lazieness now and then - relax, and your energy will come back!
I am glad to see you back in the saddle, ready to SOURIRE, POSER LA QUESTION ET CLIQUER!!!! Oh, aren't these Parisiennes just awesome...beautiful but also exuding a confidence and casualness that speaks louder than any haute couture...thank you Tish for you kind and wonderful words on my blog!!!! BISES, Anita
Outstanding posts this week (your tiny bio was book ready and so-o-o romantic).
Don't let the few spoil your great picture-taking of the rest of your world. I, for one, totally enjoy the au courant views of France and its citizens.
Have wanted to mention how many of the products you blog about that now are staples for me -- Nuxe Huile, Aromatics Elixir and Firmology are the main ones. I can't live without them. xoxo,C.
PS - have to add my personal opinion that Bobbi Brown's Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner and Cream Shadow helped me through our heat and humidity.
Sorry to hear about your unfortunate encounter--I can imagine it was unnerving. But I hope that doesn't discourage you from your 'street style' photography since the photos are always inspirational!
Love these shots...as always, xv.
Always a pleasure to see haw you braved through once again to come up with shots of delightful pstylish people! xo Maryanne

Tish,
How wonderful to "meet" you. I read your comment this evening and I must say, that is one of the nicest compliments, you are so kind.
Your blog is just wonderful too! Oh, how I wish that when I was in my 40's, I had started writing a blog. It would be interesting to see how I have calmed down lately.
I love your "on the street" photos of such smart women. I love a crisp white blouse & pearls too. I will enjoy visiting A Femme d'Un Certain Age often.
Thank you again for writing.
Lisa
