No apricots this year. After the buds burst into bloom, the gel arrived. At least the tree has leaves. The plum trees are weighed down with fruit -- more on them later. We have a sort of hedge of wild plums that have been in the garden forever and three trees we planted long ago. (The birds prefer ours rather than nature's own.)
The weather is glorious today. I hope it's beautiful wherever you are.
Have a wonderful weekend.
A demain for the weekly line-up.

Gorgeous and yummy.
Have you tried tying little strips of tinfoil to the outside branches of the tree? It's supposed to scare off the birds. Hope you get some more of those cherries for yourselves!
Time to make a clafouti. Nothing tells me that summer is here like the first crop of cherries!
Wishing you a lovely weekend, Tish-

How wonderful to have cherries from your own trees! Have a wonderful weekend in the sun.
Those cherries look delish...ours are not even close!
Take those cherries and make a Claufouti!!!!!!They look great! xo Maryanne xo
deja pseu is right, tying tinfoil to the branches does scare away the thieving birds.
The sun shone today, but that is about all I can say for the weather as it was freezing! I so envy you your fruit, even if you have to share it with the birds. We have an evil thing here called fruit fly and it ruins all our fruit when it lays it eggs inside the new fruit! YUK YUK YUK!!!!!
Summer fruit is the absolute best thing about summer for me..cherries especially!
Best wishes for a wonderful day Tish!
jeanne :)
There is something so absolutely pleasing about the photo of this precious cache of cherries.
Sounds absolutely glorious xx Summer fruits to me are some of the best. Mmm but I'm enjoying the citrus of our Winter too. The smell of them alone is enticing xx
