Ed. Note: Off to Edith's to polish our virtual shopping for this week, choose for the week after and unfortunately take a sauna. As her husband says she only eats grains and other things she germinates in her kitchen (she even covers her almonds in water so they'll "sprout" -- you get the picture) and she said yesterday: "I'm turning on the sauna, be prepared." That means I have to peel off the four layers of T-shirts and sweaters plus scarf I'm wearing.
I can't call in sick because then we wouldn't have a post on Wednesday. The sacrifices I make for my art. . .

I like your schedule. Hate to tell you this, but a sauna sounds divine to me. Much as I adore winter and snow, sometimes I feel like I stay cold for months on end -- frozen toes, frozen fingers, brrrr. I wish I could do the sauna in your place.

It was the IDEA of the sauna that put me off. Once inside it was wonderful. Edith forces me to do things I don't want to do and then I'm glad I did. It's probably a good thing we didn't know each other when we were little girls.
